The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of condolences to Japan's Emperor Akihito on the victims of the earthquake that struck Japan on Friday resulting in deaths, injuries and damages. In his name and on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people, the King expressed his deep condolences to the Emperor, the families of the victims and the friendly people of Japan. A similar cable of condolences was also sent to the Japanese Emperor by Crown Prince Sultan Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General.
