Qa'dah 22, 1431 October 30, 2010, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of condolences to Indonesian President Dr. Alhaji Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, following the news of the earthquake that has recently hit his country. The King said, "We have known with severe pain about the earthquake that has recently hit your country and led to tsunami waves resulted in deaths, injuries, missing people and damages. In my own name and on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people, we offer our deep condolences and sincere sympathy to Your Excellency, the families of the victims, and the people of Indonesia. We pray to Allah Almighty to bless the souls of the deceased, quick recovery for the injured, and safe return for the missing persons." A similar cable of condolences has also been sent to Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono by Crown Prince Sultan Ibn Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General.
