Knowledgeable resources inside the Communication and Information Technology Commission declared yesterday that they decided to impose a financial fine on any company that refuses to transfer the service of any client to another operator pointing out that the key reason for slowness and creating excuses is to keep the customer. The resources stressed in their talks to "Al Riyadh" that the Commission requires the provision of basic points at the time of transferring, after attending personally or through e-mail or fax, which are payment of all dues, cancellation of any services installed for the phone number, receiving the chip, in addition to the permanent activation of the application emphasizing that the Commission receives nearly 90 application daily from all around the Kingdom, and that the deadline to transfer to another operator is 8 days. However, with procrastination, the deadline might reach a whole year.
