Two days ago a troop of Criminal Search in Al Khafji found an ATM machine expected that it belongs to one of the local banks which had been stolen from Al Jabeel Province last week including 650 thousand riyal. The machine had been broken, the included safe had been opened and the amounts inside had been stolen. The box had been found in a desert area only 30 kilometers from Al Khafji. The Officer in Charge had been moved to the crime scene accompanied by criminal evidences, fingerprints has been taken, and the machine is still in the location where it was found and is under security of a guardian. On the other hand, Eastern Area Police Chief Commander Major General Saad Bin Mosleh Al Thobaiti mentioned that an ATM machine had been found and the investigations still running to ensure that it is the stolen box from Al Jabeel province that belong to one of the local banks. Worth mentioning that a lot of local banks does not comply with the regulations of security protection to keep the banks away from theft, where it move it or change its location without informing the relevant security authority, and without finding a safe method to keep the ATM machines in a secured locations and being away from weak-willed people.
