The government of Yemen has deployed new military forces in oil-rich Shabwa province, south east Yemen, a step aiming at enhancing the naturalization of the situations in the liberated areas and restoration of stability, it was reported here today. The Security Committee of Shabwa welcomed the deployment of the forces stationed in the coastal areas of Shabwa, regions of Weomefaa, Waazan, Al-Rowdah, and Haban and oil companies sites. The committee urged for more cooperation among all security and military bodies in the service of security and protection of the public and private interests in the province. On the other hand, Yemeni army has made new advances in the western front of Taiz province, west of the country, following fierce fighting against the Houthi militias, it was reported here today. A Yemeni military source said that the army has tightened the grip over Al-Kadarah area, north of Al-Hamly area, affiliated to Muwazea directorate western Taiz. The army launched a wide-range attack supported by intensive artillery shelling against the militia sites north of Al-Hamly area, advancing towards the remaining area where the militias are stationed east of Al-Makha. In a statement carried by September 26 website, a Yemeni army mouthpiece, the source noted that the army, assisted by the Arab Alliance air strikers, also repulsed a counter-attack launched by the Houthis and Saleh loyal forces on its sites in Al-Najiba area, north of the city of Al-Makha, winning a several-hour fierce battle.
