In my various articles, I have always addressed different matters concerning the Municipality of Riyadh and The High Commission for the Development of Arriyadh. I sometimes praise what they do and sometimes criticize or advise. All of this stems from a patriotic sense and responsibility toward our beloved city. But today I write about some of the feelings that we experienced during our presence in Riyadh in the holiday of end of fasting this year. In fact, every holiday we celebrate in Saudi Arabia and Riyadh in particular is a happy holiday, but this year it was completely different because we touched on the ground what the Kingdom is heading to in the 2030 vision- mastery, creativity and above all the people's satisfaction and interaction. Needless to say that whenever there is sound planning guided by the wise leadership, accompanied by a very patriotic and highly motivated administration, the results will inevitably be excellent and distinct, reflecting the people's interaction with . This is a summary of what happened in the activities of Riyadh this year during Eid al-Fitr events. We saw everybody was working to satisfy all, and striving to achieve the set goals to please people and achieve their aspirations and make them feel that staying in their precious city makes them proud and happy. We saw our young people working under the guidance of the unique unified management of the Secretariat of Riyadh and the General Authority to develop our city. While roaming about; attending and following up the wonderful events and watching this unprecedented turnout, one couldn't but reverberate national tones , and ask oneself if Riyadh is the capital confronting the most serious challenges in the world?. Here we lives in peace and happiness, and on the border, our brave soldiers protect our dreams and achievements and sacrifice their lives to safeguard the soil of this homeland and its banner, the most precious among all. This is the homeland of challenge and firmness led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and his heir, Mohammed bin Salman. It is a hard nut state; a state that believes that monotheism is a refuge and a clear wat of life. So God has bestowed it with a leadership that protects, defends and leads it towards safety and security. When you see children, youth and women participate in a strong spirit of interaction with the activities of the Eid, you feel that God's watchful eye is protecting them. Congratulations to the staff of the Secretariat and the Commission.. Keep up the good work. Dr. Talal Al Harbi
