Hardly a day goes by without an Iranian official - military, political or cleric - comes out with a statement attacking the kingdom with or without a reason, or "whenever the jug hit the jar", as an Arab proverb goes. The verbal attacks have escalated recently, accompanied by religious heresy to the point of blasphemy, which assumes that the "faqih" can control the universe and rain, according to one of crackbrained clerics in Qom. The doctrine of so-called Wilayat al-Faqih, which forms the central axis of contemporary Shi'a political thought, advocates a guardianship-based political system, which relies upon a just and capable jurist (faqih) to assume the leadership of the government in the absence of an infallible Imam. Khalil Mabashar Kashani, who holds the title of "Ayatollah", said that Khomeini, who holds the rank of "Spirit of God", could have ordered the clouds to rain, and "if the will of the guardian falls on the rain, the clouds will obey his commands." About a week ago, another " erudite" named Ali Saidi, who also holds the rank of representative of the "wali faqih" in the Revolutionary Guards, said: "Khamenei's mandate is God's mandate on earth, and the Wali al-Faqih has a connection with Heavens. The principle of " Wilayat al-Faqih " is one of God's greatest measures to manage people's affairs." What he says is consistent with the medieval European thinking and claims of God's shadow on earth that are still pervasive in Iran like the plague in the twenty-first century. We do not want to enter into a debate with these ignorant minds, because there is no point in this as of Imam Al-Shafei (795 CE) says "I have never debated with a knowledgeable person but beaten him, and I have never debated with an ignorant person but been beaten by him. The danger of these statements is that they come from "religious authorities" who the ordinary people do not doubt the validity of what they say after these "authorities", which enjoy social and economic privileges, have anesthetized for decades by tragic myths and plays that are not conducive to proper thinking. And because these people trust what "those who communicate with Heavens" say, it is easy to mobilize them and implicate them in antagonizing others by issuing them "certificates to enter Paradise", because ideological brainwashing is one of the most dangerous means of disinformation, similar to practices of the totalitarian regimes like the North Korean President where officers and laymen applaud whenever he launches a missile in a play that is no longer tempting anyone to watch. More seriously, these misleading interpretations are published and broadcast through official media such as the Tasnim news agency , the mouthpiece of the so-called Revolutionary Guards and the official Fares agency. No one will worry had the danger of these hallucinations was confined to the Iranian interior, instead they are translated into threats against the Kingdom by puppets with military ranks. Although the kingdom showed signs of goodwill when it agreed to host a temporary consulate to serve Iranian pilgrims, despite severing of diplomatic ties with Iran in 2015 following the attack on our embassy and consulates, the commander of the Iranian Guards General Mohammad Ali Jafari, who we do not know from where and how he got this high military rank, attacked the kingdom, claiming that Iran "faces an enemy that understands only the language of force, so it is impossible to talk to this enemy in another language," he said. Before that, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Jawad Zarifi attacked the kingdom after the armed attack on the parliament and the Khomeini tomb in Tehran last month. Also Yadollahi Jafani, the chief advisor to the Iranian leader in the Guards, accused the kingdom of controlling the region. It is as if we are who send sectarian militias to Iraq, Syria and Yemen under names and banners of different colors . The discourse as far as Persian history is concerned is endless, but it seems that the kingdom has become their only problem as if Iran's social, political and economic problems were solved. We only want to remind those sick minds of the zero outcome of their false slogans "Death to America and death to Israel". My advice to these trumpets is to play their psalms and throw their rotten eggs away from us! Dr. Talal Al Harbi
