Producing, promoting or spreading pornographic material on social media is punishable by a five-year imprisonment and a fine not exceeding SR 3 million. Public Prosecution has warned in an awareness program that the penalty is laid down in Article VI of the Saudi Anti-Cyber Crime Law.
