The Secretary General of Muslim World League (MWL), Dr. Muhammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, received at his office here today, Governor of the Indonesian city of Jakarta Dr. Anies Baswedan, and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of common interest between the two sides. The Muslim World League (MWL) also expressed its full support for the classification issued by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Bahrain regarding banned lists of terrorist organizations and individuals. The League has also decided to terminate the membership of Yusuf Al-Qaradhawi from its Islamic Fiqh Complex. In a statement, the MWL said that this classification confirms the commitment by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its sisterly countries to fight terrorism and blockade its sources, funding and supporting, pointing out that the international community should intensify its efforts to counter the activities of terrorist organizations as well as the supporters and incubators of terrorism. The League called on all those linked with these banned terrorist lists to declare their withdrawal and innocence of being affiliated to their membership or committees so as not to be included on these blacklists in addition to renouncing their ideas.
