The Ministry of Culture and Information has announced that the media center in Jazan was moved to a permanent headquarters in one of the ministry's centers in the region. The media center will be equipped with all needs, technical equipment and specialized cadres to perform its mission in conveying the latest developments at all levels. This came during a visit paid by Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad, accompanied by a number of newspaper editors and media officials, yesterday to the southern border. MOCI has also closed Al-Jazeera Channel's office in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and withdrew its license. The move came after Al-Jazeera has promoted plots of terrorist groups, supported the Houthi militias in Yemen, and tried to break the Saudi internal ranks by inciting them to leave the country and harm the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
