Pakistan's President Mamnoon Hussain received here today Imam of the Grand Mosque Sheikh Saleh bin Mohammed Al Talib. President Mamnoon welcomed Sheikh Saleh and the accompanying delegation, stressing the depth of fraternal relations between the two countries and the importance of supporting them in all fields. President Mamnoon praised the Kingdom's stances towards his country as well as the Kingdom's support for Pakistan on regional and international arenas, stressing that the people of Pakistan appreciate the humanitarian aid provided by the Kingdom for Pakistan. President Mamnoon also praised the efforts exerted by the Kingdom to serve the two holy mosques and the pilgrims, stressing his country's commitment to stand by the Kingdom's side, saying that any attack on the Kingdom is an attack on Pakistan. For his part, Imam of the Grand Mosque Sheikh Saleh said that the relation between the Kingdom and Pakistan is deep-rooted, expressing confidence in the ability of the two countries to defeat terrorism. Sheikh Saleh pointed out that Islam rejects all forms of violence and extremism and calls for unity to face all challenges.
