Pakistan's President: Pakistani People have great respect for Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques

The President of the Republic of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain confirmed the special status being enjoyed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the hearts of Pakistanis, adding that the Pakistani people have great respect for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and always look forward to the prosperity of relations between their country and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During his meeting with the Speaker of Al-Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, who is on an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan at the head of a delegation comprising a number of the Council members, President Mamnoon Hussain praised the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries, pointing out that the convergence between Riyadh and Islamabad reached an identical extent on many issues and international developments.
The Pakistan's President lauded the invitation launched by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the Islamic alliance to counter the scourge of terrorism, reaffirming Pakistan's standing by this alliance and its full support for the efforts being exerted by the Kingdom in this area emanating from the belief of Pakistani officials and citizens that the security and sovereignty of the Kingdom as the security and sovereignty of their country.
He added that his country has recently modified a lot of regulations and created a number of legislations flowing in favor of supporting foreign investment, pointing to the special priority for Saudi investors to make use of these facilities aiming to upgrade the economic relations between the two countries to the level of distinguished political and military relations.
For his part, the Speaker of Al-Shura Council expressed his appreciation for the sincere feelings accorded to the delegation by Pakistani officials and citizens, pointing out that Pakistan has a special status among Saudi citizens where around two million Pakistani citizens live in the Kingdom and enjoy security, safety and care which they deserve as dear guests.
Al Al-Sheikh said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is witnessing a period of historic transformation entitled determination and initiative under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
On the other hand, Pakistani Foreign Minister Sartaj Aziz has received the Speaker of Al- Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh and his accompanying delegation at the Pakistani Foreign Ministry.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and common positions towards a number of issues and international developments.
The meeting was attended by the members of the accompanying delegation and Saudi Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Abdullah bin Marzouq Al-Zahrani.
