A 24-year old Gulf youth broke into a home of an Emirati family when they were out and stole phones, clocks and electronic devices with the help of two professional burglars he hired for the purpose. The man, whose identity was not disclosed, was taking revenge on the family for refusing to marry their daughter to him. The youth and the two burglars, who were later arrested, have been referred to the criminal court. Investigations revealed that the youth solicited the help of the two accomplishes when the family was traveling out of the UAE. The three scaled the wall of the house and broke inside through the living room window before fleeing with their booty. On discovering the burglary after returning home, the family complained to the police. One of the perpetrators was nabbed when a stolen phone was found on him.
