Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Faleh met yesterday with his US counterpart Rick Perry, the Secretary of Energy. During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of issues, including latest international developments, in the domains of economy, energy as well as the world oil markets' expectations, in addition to bilateral relations binding the two countries, in regard of energy and technologies. On the other hand, Al-Faleh briefed his US counterpart of the current Saudi investments, in the US, as well as the next coming plans, including an announcement made, during the week, of signing final and binding accords to spin off Motiva Enterprises Corporation, which owns the biggest US refinery, in Port Arthur, as the corporation is a joint venture for refining and marketing, between a subsidiary of the Saudi Aramco company and a subsidiary of Shell Oil company. The two sides concluded the meeting, asserting the significance of working together, in coordination, especially, in the domains of economy and energy, to best serve the interests of the two countries and the world economy, as well.
