Khalid Al Falih, Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resource for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia met here today with US Secretary of Energy Rick Perry. The two discussed various topics, including international economic and energy developments, as well as the outlook for global oil markets and bilateral relations, in energy and technology. Minister Al Falih also updated Secretary Perry on current and future Saudi investments in the US, including this week's announcement of the signing of binding agreements leading to the acquisition by Saudi Aramco of Motiva Enterprises, including America's largest refinery at Port Arthur, Texas. The two pledged to work together and coordinate future policies for the mutual benefit of both nations and the entire world.
