A woman died after being burned during local rituals to expel evil spirits from her body in the north of Nicaragua according to police statement. Police said that the woman died due to her serious injuries from the burning rituals which was done to perform an order by a religious sect leader. The hospital manager, which the 25 years old woman transferred to, said that her death was resulted from severe burns of third degree in 80 % of her body. Police arrested the religious sect leader who detained the young woman for a week in a special compound to expel demons from her body before she died after being thrown into the fire.
