The International Finance Magazine (IFM) honored Tawuniya as the most innovative insurance company of 2016 at a recent function in Dubai. The award recognized Tawuniya for its high quality innovative products and services, especially its Smart Insurance Campaign through which it launched a new interactive digital platform in English and Arabic, providing services through a single platform. The interactive platform gives customers access to Tawuniya's insurance packages easily and empowers them by enabling them to register themselves, manage their accounts, and update insurance documents quickly. Majed Al-Bahiti, Marketing General Manager of Tawuniya, received the trophy at the function. He commented, "The IFM Award reflects Tawuniya's leadership in the insurance sector in Saudi Arabia for the last 30 years." Al-Bahiti added, "This honor comes as a result of the effort and the work of all the employees at Tawuniya in understanding the needs of our customers and in enhancing the insurance experience culture. We always focus on innovating and improving insurance products to meet the needs of our customers within the three key operating segments – Medical, Motor, Property & Casualty, and by creating a number of innovative insurance packages for the SME sector." Besides the IMF awards, Tawuniya received other recognitions in 2016, including Al-Eqtisadiah Top 100 and Forbes Top 100, besides being rated A- by S&P, the highest rating for Saudi insurance company in the year. Moreover, Raeed Al-Tamimi, Tawuniya CEO, was ranked among the top 100 CEOs in the Arab world by Trends magazine and Insead College.
