Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud held talks session at his palace with Sudan's President Omar Hassan Al-Bashir, who arrived on an official visit to the Kingdom and was received at King Salman Airbase Airport by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region; and a number of officials. During the talks session, they discussed means of enhancing bilateral relations in various fields and reviewed the developments on regional and international arenas. Following the talks session, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and President Al-Bashir attended the signing ceremony of a framework memorandum of understanding on the Kingdom's grant to finance a project for providing drinking water in rural areas. The framework memorandum of understanding was co-signed by Vice President and Managing Director of Saudi Fund for Development Eng. Yousef bin Ibrahim Al-Bassam and Sudanese Minister of State and Director of the President's Office Taha Osman Al-Hussein. The talks session and signing ceremony were attended by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region; and a number of senior officials.
