The Duchess of Cambridge looked relaxed and refreshed today as she resumed her royal duties following the Christmas break. She looked elegant in a £1,650 belted blue coat by Eponine as she arrived at the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families in North London, teamed with her trusty navy pumps by Rupert Sanderson. Kate, 35, also showcased a subtle style tweak by wearing her tendrils of her brunette hair swept back and held in place with mini bulldog clips. Today's visit it Kate's first engagement of the year after enjoying a low-key Christmas at her parents' home in Berkshire, before visiting the Queen at Sandringham last weekend. Earlier this week, she also marked her 35th birthday celebrating privately with the William and their two children, George and Charlotte. The mother-of-two was keen to learn more about Anna Freud's work with families who, like her, have children under five years old. The visit is designed to draw attention to child mental health issues, particularly how early intervention and working with the whole family can be crucial in helping those in vulnerable situations. The EYPU, which opened in April 2011, offers an assessment and treatment programme for parents with personality disorders and their children who, because of the issues affecting their parents, are at risk of being taken into care.
