Peterborough student's shoe design gets royal approval

A fashion student from Peterborough has been chosen to create a pair of shoes for one of the world's leading fashion icons - the Duchess of Cambridge.
Peterborough-born Becka Hunt (20) is set to join an illustrious list of designers who have produced custom-made work for the Duchess – and it is her first commission.
The De Montfort University (DMU) footwear design student was announced as the winner of a competition to create a pair of shoes for Kate Middleton when The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh and the Duchess herself visited DMU on Thursday. __
