President of Saudi-Indian Business Council Engineer Kamal Al-Munajed has explained that the participation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a guest of honor in "Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2017" to be held in Hyderabad, India on January 10, 2017 will contribute to strengthening investment relations between the Kingdom and the Republic of India, which have recently seen a development in the volume of trade exchange in various areas, reaching more than SR 137 billion. He said that the Council, represented by 35 businessmen, will discuss trade and investment relations between the two countries, ways of their development and taking advantage of the available opportunities and benefits of the Saudi and Indian economies, pointing out that the Kingdom has managed to set a developmental strategy to ensure future and achieve aspirations of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 of which seeks to take advantage of the distinguished strategic relationship and business partnership binding the two countries, where India is the 4th trade partner of the Kingdom. It is worth mentioning that Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2017 will be held in its 8th session on January 10-13, 2017 and focus on the sustainable economic and social development. The Summit will be attended by heads of States and Governments, Ministers and Corporate leaders as well as senior policy-makers, heads of international institutions and academics from around the world.
