US Secretary of State John Kerry will lead the U.S. delegation to a meeting of business executives and innovators in Ahmedabad, India on January 10, the State Department announced Tuesday. At the Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit inaugurated by new Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Kerry will "highlight the critical role that U.S. technology plays in supporting sustainable economic growth across India and the Indo-Pacific region, as well as strengthening trade and investment between the two countries," the department said in a statement.
