The Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir has lauded the United Nations decision to delete the name of the countries of the Coalition for Defense of Legitimacy in Yemen from the list attached to the report of the Secretary-General of the United Nations on children and military conflicts in light of the lack of accurate and reliable information about the coalition's efforts on which the report was based. In a press statement today after the first meeting of Follow-up and Political Consultation Committee held between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Sudan at the Conference Palace in Jeddah, Minister Al-Jubeir expressed hope to verify in the future of the accuracy of information before it is published, stressing at the same time the keenness of the Coalition for the Defense of legitimacy in Yemen on achieving security and stability in Yemen, fighting against terrorist organizations including al-Qaeda, and implementing Security Council resolution No 2116, along with its keenness on the safety of civilians including children. The Minister of Foreign Affairs explained that the coalition countries are in the front of countries contributing to the work of humanitarian relief inside Yemen to alleviate the sufferings of the brotherly people of Yemen, pointing to the great humanitarian efforts in Yemen being carried out by King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid.
