In the presence of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates signed at Al-Salam palace in Jeddah yesterday a protocol to establish the Saudi UAE Coordination Council. Dr. Nizar bin Obaid Madani, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, signed for Saudi Arabia while Ali bin Mohammed Al-Shamsi, the Deputy Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Security signed for the UAE. The signing ceremony was attended by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Governor of Makkah Region; Prince Dr. Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdualziz, Minister of State, Member of the Council and Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior; Dr. Mused Al-Aiban, Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet, who is also the guide of the visiting delegation; Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf, Minister of Finance; and Dr. Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi, Minister of Culture and Information. On the UAE side, the signing ceremony was attended by Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Mazrooe, Undersecretary of the Crown Prince's Court and the UAE ambassador to the Kingdom Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Dhahri.
