Adel bin Ahmad Al-Jubeir, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met here yesterday with Foreign Minister of Burkina Faso Faso Alpha Barry. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and discussed ways of enhancing them in all fields. They also discussed the latest developments at regional and international arenas. In a press statement following the meeting, Al-Jubeir welcomed the foreign minister of Burkina Faso's visit which came within a historic visit paid by President of Burkina Faso Rock Marc Christian Kabore to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Foreign Minister has lauded a depth of relations between the two friendly countries, pointing out identical views and stances towards a number of issues of common interest. Al-Jubeir has also hailed Burkina Faso's supportive stances for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) as well as its support of Determination Storm for supporting legitimacy in Yemen. He also pointed out that Burkina Faso was among the first countries joining the Islamic Military Alliance to Combat Terrorism and Extremism. Al-Jubeir concluded his statements by expressing his hopes that this visit contributes bilateral relations between the two countries in all fields.
