Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud left arrived yesterday in Ankara, at the start of an official visit to the Republic of Turkey at an invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. At Ankara Esenboga international airport, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was received by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the Republic of Turkey. In a welcome gesture, a group of children representing the people of Turkey were graced to present a bouquet of flowers to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. He was also received by foreign minister of Turkey Moulud Oglu; the Governor of Ankara Mohammed Kleshlar; the Military Commander of Ankara General Metin Edili; the Chief of Ankara Municipality Ibrahim Jaukjuk; a number of Arab ambassadors accredited to Turkey; Saudi ambassador to Turkey Dr. Adel bin Siraj Mirdad and members of Saudi offices in Turkey. Following a short recess at the VIP lounge, President Erdogan escorted the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in an official motorcade to the King's guest residence. A number of princes accompanied the monarch. The King's official delegation consists of Sheikh Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance; Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf, Minister of Finance; Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabee'a, Minister of Commerce and Industry; Eng. Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Miqbel, Minister of Transport; Dr. Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi, Minister of Culture and Information; and Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, Minister of Foreign Affairs; and a number of senior protocol officials.
