The President of United Republic of Tanzania, John Pombe Magufuli, has received in the capital of Dar Assalaam Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, who arrived in the Republic of Tanzania after his visit to the Republic of Kenya. The Foreign Minister conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the President, Government and people of the United Republic of Tanzania, while the Tanzanian President sent his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During the meeting, they discussed relations between the two countries, ways of enhancing them in various fields, and consultation and coordination on regional and international issues of common interest. Following the reception and in the presence of Tanzanian President, a framework agreement for cooperation between the two countries in various fields was signed by Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir and Tanzanian Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Augustine Phillip Mahiga. During the meeting, Minister Al-Jubeir and his Tanzanian counterpart discussed ways of enhancing bilateral cooperation as well as regional and international issues of common interest. The reception and meeting were attended by Undersecretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Bilateral Relations Dr. Khalid Al-Jandan, Head of the Ministry s Information Department Ambassador Osama Nuqali, Director of Minister s Office Ambassador Mohammed Al-Kalabi, and Saudi Ambassador Khalid Al-Anqari.
