Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore Lee Hsein Loong received at his office in Singapore today Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, Foreign minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who arrived in Singapore on Wednesday afternoon on an official visit. During the meeting, Al-Jubeir conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Prime Minister of Singapore. In turn, the Prime Minister sent his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense. Later, Al-Jubeir met with the Foreign Minister of Singapore Vivian Balakrishnan. During the two meetings, bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them, particularly in the field of mutual investments and other fields of cooperation between the Kingdom and Singapore were discussed. Also international issues of common interest were discussed. In the two meetings, the foreign minister was accompanied by Dr. Khalid Al-Jandan, the Undersecretary of the foreign ministry for Bilateral Relations; Osama Nugali, Director of Information Affairs Department at the foreign ministry; and Mansour Al-Mazmumi, the Saudi ambassador to Singapore.
