The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received the honorary doctorate degree in historical and civilizational studies awarded to him by King Saud University. This came during the King's reception at Al-Yamamah Palace here today the Minister of Education Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Issa; Director of King Saud University Dr. Badran bin Abdulrahman Al-Omar; deputies of the University; Supervisor of King Salman Center for Studies of History of Arabian Peninsula and its Civilization; the Dean of the Faculty of Literature; and a number of the officials of the university. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques expressed his thanks to the university and its employees for their efforts in the service and education of male and female students of the homeland and its interest in research and scientific aspects. The Minister of Education and Director of King Saud University decorated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques with the Sash and Medal of the University and handed over to him the honorary doctorate degree, as well as a pictorial book on the King's relationship with the University. The handing-over ceremony was attended by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior; Minister of State and Cabinet's Member Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban; Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi; and Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Jubeir.
