The work is currently going on to assemble the first aircraft, model A330-300 "Regional" which is the latest of Airbus products for the benefit of its first operator in the world, Saudi Arabian airlines, at the final assembly line for Airbus in the French city of Toulouse. The plane currently being assembled is the first of "20" aircraft of this model which Saudi Arabian Airlines has contracted to acquire and become the first national carrier to operate this type of aircraft in the world. The new "A330-300" Regional aircraft is designed to accommodate about 400 passengers in addition to a flight distance of 3,000 nautical miles. Saudi Arabian Airlines signed an agreement with Airbus last summer to acquire "50" modern aircraft, including "20" aircraft "A330-300" Regional "and" 30 "aircraft model A320, the most demanded in the world.
