Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa of Bahrain, who is also Deputy Commander-in-chief of the armed forces and first deputy Premier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, received here yesterday visiting Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah Region; and Prince Turki Al-Faisal, President of the Board of Directors of King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies. He expressed gratitude of the fraternal and historical ties binding the two kingdoms of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, noting the strength and firmness of the joint cooperation and coordination between them in all fields to best serve the two countries amid the current challenges engulfing the region. He paid tribute to Saudi Arabia's positions, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, towards Bahrain, lauding the pioneering role of the Kingdom and the great importance of its initiatives that contributed to effective coordination of the efforts to face those challenges and consolidate the bases of peace, development and real confrontation of terrorism and deviating thought. For their part, the Al-Faisals expressed appreciation of the Prime Minister for his interest in promoting fraternal relations between the two kingdoms and his keenness to achieve more contacts and solidarity between the two countries in all fields. They also lauded the noble feelings of the Bahraini prince towards late Prince Saud Al-Faisal and the Bahraini initiative to name a main road in Bahrain after him.
