The Deputy Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations, Adviser Saad bin Abdullah Al-Saad, has confirmed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's status at the United Nations, as a founding state in the United Nations, its great efforts to work with members states to maintain international peace and security, its contributions to international humanitarian aid and achievement of sustainable development objectives in the Kingdom set by the United Nations. He made during a meeting with Saudi students on scholarships in New York City a summary on founding of the United Nations, its organs, and the roles of the United Nations Security Council in maintaining international peace and security, as well as the missions of the General Assembly. He commended the efforts of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in fighting terrorism and violent extremism, stressing the Kingdom's strong condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
