The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Grand Mufti and President of Senior Scholars Council and Scholarly Research and Ifta Presidency, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh received here today the guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques of scholars, preachers and intellectuals participating in the National festival for Heritage and Culture (Al-Janadriah) at its 30th session. During the meeting, Sheikh Al-Sheikh delivered a speech in which he stressed the importance of Islamic cohesion and adherence to the law of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and the unification of ranks especially in such circumstances in which the enemies are trying to deploy pre-Islamic slogans across the nation to spoil its peoples and disrupt its security and stability. He further said that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has ordered the launch of "Decisive Storm" operation through Arab-Islamic alliance for the defense of the Islamic doctrine, which has suffered a malignant attack from the Safavid tide that wants harming Islam and Muslims and questions the Islamic religion and the right approach of the ancestors and scholars. For their part, a number of the guests delivered speeches during which they expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom; leadership, government and people and stressed that it is legitimately imperative that Muslims stand by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its call to encounter the dangers that are trying to undermine Islam and Muslims, and to achieve Arab integration and solidarity, as the danger threatens the reality of Islam and distorts the Islamic message. The guests included Grand Mufti of the Republic of Mauritania, Sheikh Ahmed Al-Murabet; Mufti of North Tripoli of the Lebanese Republic Sheikh Malik Al-Sha'ar ; President of the University of Ansar al-Sunnah in the Republic of Sudan, Dr. Sheikh Ismail Al-Mahi and Chairman of the Society of Quran and Sunnah in the Kingdom of Morocco, Dr. Mohammed Al-Maghraowi.
