An official spokesman of the Ministry of Interior said yesterday a security patrol was successful to monitor, chase and capture 5,173,000 Amphetamine pills, three grams of heroin, a machinegun and a pistol in the possession of eleven suspects, including nine Saudis and two Sudanese. The spokesman said the operation was carried out upon information received by the concerned authority that a big quantity of drugs are being smuggled into the Kingdom. Immediately, a security patrol was assigned to follow-up the case, he said, adding that the traffickers were caught red-handed. He said the suspects and the material confiscated were transferred to the concerned authority to finalize legal procedures.
