In the presence of Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Naimi, and United States Energy Secretary DR. Ernest J. Moniz, Saudi-American Working Group on Energy held here today its annual meeting co-chaired by Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and United States Assistant Secretary of Energy for International Affairs Jonathan Elkind. During the meeting, they discussed a number of topics including the international oil market situation in terms of supply and demand; the movement of inventory through this and next year; the future of the US market in terms of supply and demand; the Kingdom's program of the rationalization of energy use and the success achieved through its short term; and the future plans and cooperation between the two countries in this area. They also reviewed the international talks on the environment and climate change and the pursuit to reach an international agreement appropriate for all during the meeting of 21st Multilateral Party Conference for Framework Convention on Climate Change to be held in the French capital, Paris, during the next month of December. The meeting was attended by a number of officials.
