The Kingdom's sky witnessed at dawn on Monday, September 28th a total moon eclipse which started at 4: 007 a.m. and moonlight passed completely at 5:11 a.m., to become as Super Blood Moon as a result of the refraction of the red color spectrum on the surface of the moon, as it happens in the phenomenon of the Red Twilight. In a statement to SPA, the astronomer Dr. Sharaf bin Rafood Al-Safiani who is the member of Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Scienc (AUASS), said that the lunar eclipse phenomenon will be the last in this year 2015. He drew the attention that the eclipse was monitored in all African countries, Europe and the United States of America.
