Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Deputy Premier, patronized the finals of Crown Prince Soccer Cup currently ongoing at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh between Al-Ahli and Al-Hilal. The first half ended zero love. During the half time, the Crown Prince arrived at the venue and was received by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region; Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior; Prince Abdullah bin Musaed bin Abdulaziz, General President of Youth Welfare, a number of princes, Ahmed Eid, Chairman of the Saudi Soccer Federation (SSF), Youth Welfare senior officials and members of the SSF. Al-Ahli of Jeddah won the trophy after beating the Riyadh-based Al-Hilal 2-1. The referee sent Al-Ahli's goalkeeper off for obstructing Al-Hilal's striker who was making his way to the goal unchecked. His replacement saved Al-Hilal's Nawaf Al-Abed penalty kick in the second half before his team striker scoring the equalizer. Later Al-Ahli made it 2-1. Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz gave away the silver medals to the second place Al-Hilal team players and the golden as well as the cup to Al-Ahli amid the jubilance of a crowd of fans.
