January 27, 2015, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received President Barack Obama of the United States of America upon his arrival at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh today. Upon arrival, President Obama was received by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. President Obama was also received by Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier; Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Interior; Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region; President of Royal Protocol Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Tubaishi; Saudi Ambassador to the U.S.A. Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir; U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Joseph Westphal. An official reception ceremony was held for President Obama, where the national anthem of the two countries were played. President Obama shook hands with Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Minister of Education; Prince Fahd bin Abdullah bin Mohammed, President of General Authority of Civil Aviation; Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Chief of General Intelligence; Prince Dr. Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs; Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard; Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiques; Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources for Oil Affairs; Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Prince Mansour bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, Advisor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Dr. Bandar bin Salman bin Mohammed, Advisor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Price Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Red Crescent Authority; Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense, President of Royal court, and Special Advisor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; and a number of ministers and senior civil and military officials. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and U.S. President Barack Obama left in an official convoy for the palace of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The US President's accompanying delegation included US Secretary of State John Kerry; US Assistant President and National Security Advisor Suzanne Rice, and a number of Advisors to the US President and US senior officials. Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud held a luncheon in honor of US President Barack Obama. The US President shook hands with the princes, ministers and senior military and civil officials. For his part, the Custodian of the Two holy Mosques shook hands with the US President's accompanying delegation.
