Many are those who have criticized and rejected the statement of the Egyptian "Muslim Brotherhood" group, regarding its call for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for an “immediate” stop of the military action against the insurgent Houthis who violated the Saudi territory and sovereignty and managed to kill and injure a number of its soldiers in plain day. Beyond no doubt, the Saudi Forces did not wish to carry out the military action against the insurgents, but that was necessary and [was] a public demand, in order to stop the insurgency and "arrogance" of this reckless group and to preserve the security of the Saudi people and the safety of its territory and sovereignty. That is exactly what gave it the absolute right to act as such. The Guide of the Egyptian "Muslim Brotherhood" Group perhaps wanted the Saudis to just sit and watch their citizens being killed. He also wished to pave the rugged way before the Houthis to proceed with humiliating the Saudis and occupy their lands. The "Muslim Brotherhood" statement was misleading, evasive and full of lies, even though it tried to show a language that is concerned about the Arab and Islamic nations, when it called for an immediate cessation of fighting to save the blood of the Muslims. Many reasons make the statement, in my opinion and that of others, "rejected" and "ambiguous," as it tends to support the Houthis, even if the "Brothers" claim otherwise. After all, the statement did not distinguish between a state that enjoys sovereignty, a leading position, and an international and regional weight on one hand, and between an insurgent, reckless and "irresponsible" group that works for regional interests and fulfills foreign desires and ambitions, on the other hand. The statement of the "Muslim Brotherhood- of Egypt" put the state and the insurgents at the same level, in what gives Houthis legitimacy, without making any differentiation between the aggressor and the victim, and between a state that has a clear policy and sovereignty and an insurgent group that is rejected in its country and considered as an outlaw. There are other negative remarks about the statement, as it does not clearly condemn or denounce the assault of the insurgents on the Saudi territory. So how do Mahdi Akef and his group want the fight to stop immediately, in the face of an armed aggressive group, that does not care about the border or the lives of innocent people, and that is an outlaw? The "Muslim Brotherhood" group says in its statement that Saudi Arabia was lured into this battle, and that its role is greater than that, without specifying the side that managed to lure it. What great role is expected from Saudi Arabia, even before it defends its borders and preserves the safety and stability of its country and citizens?! In addition, why has this "murderous" group avoided to directly criticizing those who support the insurgents and mislead them to undermine the security and stability of Saudi Arabia? Or does it identify with the practices and behaviors of these foreign sides and support them in their "piety"? In contrast, the Saudis showed significant rallying behind their leadership and the decision of their state, in order to deter this "infiltrating" unjust mob. They responded to the "Muslim Brotherhood" statement by refuting and exposing the obvious tricking and troubled expressions mentioned in it. They rallied behind their army – regardless of their backgrounds and affiliations – and called for supporting whatever measures their country takes to defend their territory and people. Shiite Authority Sheikh Hassan al-Saffar made a national statement that rejects the practices of this oppressive group, as well as the attempts to drag the kingdom into a war that is harmful for it and for the region. He also affirmed that being a Saudi citizen, he supports his country in the face of any aggression of any inch of its lands, irrespective of the side staging it. He said: "We are all partners in the country and we should stand united behind the [Saudi] leadership to face any aggression." One question arises about how a small group can withstand for a long period without receiving major foreign assistance?! And who is the side that benefits from the Houthis' strength and insurgency? Who is the side that benefits from undermining the security of the kingdom and its sister Yemen? Most analyses point out that Iran is the first side involved in supporting this group with equipments and arms, although Saudi and Yemeni officials try to avoid announcing that directly or mobilizing the public against Tehran. But what is certain is that Iran seeks to besiege Saudi Arabia to strangle its border and expand its influence to its southern part, through pushing the Houthis' insurgent movement to control the situation in Yemen, after it managed to expand its influence inside Iraq (north of Saudi Arabia) and control many active institutions inside it. This has given Iran international pressuring cards in its negotiations with the West. The least we could say about the "evasive" statement of the "Muslim Brotherhood" is that it is "vague" and hides behind "impure" words, some of which reveal an "implicit" flatter for Iran. Ahmadinejad transformed Iran into a repressive police state that kills and arrests the Iranians. [He turned it into a country] that has troubled relations at home and abroad, and it can do nothing but spit out poison and plant mines on the territories of neighboring and non-neighboring countries, by supporting armed groups, movements, militias and mobs, in order to spread chaos in the region. Besides, the Egyptian "Muslim Brotherhood" does not have a pure history of avoiding bloodshed and defending innocent people, so the way it dealt with its statement was on this basis, as an attempt to look at its bloody history. Therefore, the Muslim Brotherhood did not want to say that the Houthis are a fleeting and dissident group and at the same time, it wanted Saudi Arabia to be tolerant and forgiving towards these insurgents, after they dipped their hands in blood. Certainly, Saudi Arabia will emerge from its battle against the Houthis and their hypocrite likes with new lessons, ones that distinguish between an enemy, a friend and a fake person. It will remain a thorn in the eye of anyone who wants to harm its citizens. Finally, the land was purified, the Houthis were defeated, and the Saudi message was delivered to those who wanted to test the ground. The statement of the "Brothers" was torn out and stepped onto and turned into scattered specks of dust.
