- Russian Chief of Staff: Why are you so worried about Syria? - President Bashar al-Assad: “We are moving forward in the face of a global war and the bond is tight between the state policies and the people's doctrine... As to those fleeing (the defectors), they are allowing the cleansing of the state and the country." And after the “cleansing" process which was carried out with aircrafts, tanks and missiles caused the fall of around 4,000 people in Syria within a month, General Abnoush, commander of the IRGC Saheb al-Amr unit, volunteered to expose what the Iranian command has been insisting on denying to acquit itself from the great massacre, under the pretext of protecting an allied regime. He said: “Today, we are participating in the fighting in all its dimensions, be they military or cultural ones." By cultural dimensions, the eloquent general was not referring to the art of eradication, displacement and instigation of further killing, as long as the massacre is distant from the soil of the Islamic Republic in Iran. And he definitely did not mean teaching to the militants in the revolution the foundations of night marches or resistance via slogans written on the remaining walls. The answer to what was not revealed by Abnoush (Wall Street Journal report) resides in the “success" of the attempts of Qassem Suleiman, the commander of the Quds Brigade in the Revolutionary Guard, to convince Khamenei that Iran's borders go beyond its geographic limits, and that “the fight for Syria is necessary to preserve the Shiite Crescent." In light of that, is anyone still wondering about the Syrian regime's confidence in its ability to settle the situation, even if at the expense of the fall of tens of thousands of dead, many of whom are ideologically linked to the state policy? Is Tehran not proving once again that its words are opposed to its actions and that its actions are nothing compared to its underlying fueling of a sectarianism that is destroying Islamic states, at a time when Supreme Leader Khamenei is casting accusations left and right and disregarding what is endured by the populations of the region. If there is Western arrogance, then how can Russian arrogance be described, as it is talking about “terrorists" without any consideration for the horrendous killings affecting dozens of children every day? What is Tehran doing by offering a “reconciliation initiative" between the regime and the opposition in Syria with one hand, and dispatching hundreds of rockets to save its ally with the other? It is practically advising it to perpetrate more killings and destruction, so that the Syrians who are still alive can draw the lessons related to the consequences of any attack against the Rejectionist Axis. Khamenei's command wants the leaders of the Islamic states in the Non-alignment summit to cheer for it and its insistence on ending the bloodbath among the Muslims. Let us listen to Iranian Defense Minister Ahmed Wahidi following the crossing – by the great massacre – of the barrier of 25,000 dead in Syria. He praised the regime's approach because “Syria has not yet asked for help and is managing the situation in a very good way." Among those who went to the summit, who recalled the Iranian fierce defense of the rights of the Palestinians in Gaza when they faced the Israeli attack, and Iran's encouragement of Hamas to fight and strike Israel with missiles, knowing that as soon as Iranians volunteered to engage in combat, the Supreme Leader prevented them from leaving? It is thus a cosmic Iranian war with the blood of the Arabs and Muslims. While the Lebanese examples at this level are quite blatant – whenever Tehran placed one of its fingers in Lebanon's murky water, thus causing infighting between the Muslims – the Iraqi model which has become part of the Rejectionist Axis does not resemble in any way the dreams of the opposition which sought the toppling of Saddam Hussein's dictatorship. Now, this opposition is facing an authentic dictatorship from across the border, as well as one by proxy. If this is not the case, then what exactly is obstructing the unity of Iraq and its people? Who is carrying out explosions, killings and torture and who is taking over and smuggling the country's wealth? Wherever the Iranian dream in the face of international arrogance lands in the Arab region, blood is shed and Tehran starts cheering the martyrs. It taught us to hate Israel to the point where - if we ever face another July war - we will prepare the coffins while the Supreme Leader will honor us with a speech. What is happening in Syria is a “cosmic" war. And as long as it is so in the literature of Tehran and the regime in Damascus, with Russian enthusiasm, Beijing's selfishness and Israel's dream to destroy and divide Syria with Syrian hands, following the undermining of Iraq's capabilities, is it any surprise to see the heroism of MiG-23 fighter jets as they are pursuing Syrian women and children in the shelters and behind the trenches? In Baghdad, al-Maliki is choosing F16 warplanes and the Kurds have the right to be paranoid and learn from the Arabs' lessons, i.e. about the use of wealth to purchase arms and carry out more killings at home. This is our heroism in which we allowed the Iranian dream to flourish. America toppled Saddam and the Taliban rule, and Tehran was relieved. But there are no free services. Let us look closely at the war threats and commotion between the Supreme Leader, Obama and Netanyahu, while the real and filthy war extends far beyond Baghdad, Damascus, Latakia and Aleppo. How many Arab children will we kill?
