Iran is not a threat to the United States (and nor do I find it to be a threat to Israel). As such, any American who calls to launch a military attack on Iran and destroy Iranian nuclear plants is an Israeli-aligned Likudnik, who is betraying his country to the extent that he would sacrifice young American lives for the sake of a country run by fascists. Norman Podhoretz, for instance, is an extremist neo-conservative. He wrote an article named “The case for bombing Iran”, in which he likened Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Hitler, and made Iran as evil as Nazi Germany, and this is nothing but pure intellectual debauchery. Similarly, William Kristol said that the Secretary of State offered to negotiate with Iran, but to no avail, all while Iran is responsible for one third of all American soldiers killed in Iraq. Meanwhile, Michael Rubin from the American Enterprise Institute, which is a den for the neo-conservatives , said that there is a conflict of interests between Iran and the United States in Iraq. In addition, the right-wing Heritage Foundation issued a study entitled: “Iran: The Rising Threat”, while the Washington Institute For Near East Policy published another study entitled “Deterring the Ayatollahs: Complications in Applying Cold War Strategy to Iran” written by Patrick Clawson and Michael Eisenstadt, and in which they claimed that diplomacy will not work with Iran, and that a nuclear Iran is a dangerous challenge that must be stopped in its tracks. I did not read what is written here above yesterday or a week ago. In fact, I had written about it in this column last year, on the 12th of August, and had said that the war gang led by Vice President Dick Cheney was calling for bombing Iran through intensive precision air strikes in autumn, or maximum in spring. I had also written 11 months ago that I would neither dismiss nor confirm this information, but that I would go back to the readers a year later to be accountable for what I had written. Still, I do not need to wait until next month, because only a month after my article, the global financial crisis broke out with the collapse of the Lehman Brothers bank on the 15th of September, then the American economy went bankrupt and almost dragged the whole world along with it to the abyss. Afterwards, the Republicans lost the presidency, and the dreams of the American empire and of Israeli hegemony in the Middle East ended. Nonetheless, the evil gang of war keeps trying. On the 2nd of this month, John Bolton, the former Likudnik U.S. ambassador to the UN and the Security Council - whom the Senate itself refused to confirm in this post - wrote an article in the “Washington Post” entitled “Time for an Israeli Strike?” In the article, Bolton claimed that with Iran's mullahs back in control, Israel's decision about using military force against Tehran's nuclear program is more urgent than ever. In his opinion, the logic of an Israeli strike is firm and inexorable. He also criticized Obama because he still wants to negotiate. A month before Bolton's article, Irwin Cotler, a former Canadian minister of Justice, and Alan Dershowitz, an American Likudnik whose only cause is Israel, wrote an article entitled “taking a stand against Iran”, on an extremist website. They said that Cotler wants the Canadian Parliament to issue a decree accusing Iran of genocide because of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's call for wiping Israel off the map. The article's authors also want the United Nations, the U.S. Congress and the entire nations of the world to issue similar resolutions against Iran. I am not impressed with Ahmadinejad at all, and in my article about a year ago, I said that he is a bigger threat to Iran than he is to Israel, and I also said in subsequent articles that he is nothing but a “hollow drum”. But this is one thing, and genocide is another, and since the fall of Nazism, no other Nazi or Fascistic state was established other than Israel itself. While Ahmadinejad's threats are nothing but empty talk, Israel is deliberately killing Palestinian civilians every day, while Israeli human rights groups themselves show in their records related to the murder of women and children that the ratio of young people killed, under the age of 15 years, is of approximately ten Palestinians for each Israeli, which is an exemplary Nazi ratio. On the other hand, Iran has never invaded any country, near or far, and was never accused of mass murder. Ahmadinejad was only quoting Ayatollah Khomeini, and the meaning of wiping Israel from the map is similar to how the Soviet Union was removed from the map, and does not imply the killing of Jews. The Iranian President explained what he said in this way, which was confirmed by experts in the Persian language, but the devil's followers such as American Likudniks and neo-conservatives continue to insist on only understanding matters in the way it suits them. I am basing my arguments on many sources, in my articles published today and tomorrow, while saving both used and unused source material related to them. Specifically, I want to thank the following sources of information: First, I would like to thank Gary Leupp, Professor of history at Tufts University and Adjunct Professor of Religion, who wrote an article entitled “The Bomb Iran Faction”. I would like to also thank Professor Stephen Zunes, Head of Middle Eastern Studies at the University of San Francisco, who wrote an article entitled “Why American Neo-Cons Wanted Ahmadinejad to Win”, in addition to the writer Dilip Hiro, a global expert on Iran and who has five published books on Iran. The Likudniks and the neo-conservatives are nothing but a war gang. As for my sources, they are only trustworthy and considered from the highest calibre worldwide. Having said so, I will continue tomorrow.
