Bullets have no identity, and may Obama enjoy his popularity in Israel. What difference is there between killing the civilian “ghosts of strife” in Syria after the citizens have become “agents,” the bombing of the demonstrators in Sana'a with heavy artillery because they are defying “legitimacy”, and Israel's killing of the Palestinians and crushing of their humanity since before 1948 because they “do not want peace” based on its conditions? Bullets have no identity. This was “discovered” by the Arab youth since they realized – in the context of the revolutionary spring – that generations had their energies wasted, their voices muted and were humiliated on the guillotine of the great collaboration between “national” authorities that violated everything in the name of Palestine and the battle to remove it from the claws of the enemy, and an enemy which masterfully exercised a game of blackmail towards the Arab regimes throughout decades. This enemy thus traded coexistence with the legitimacies of many among them by breaking the will to unify and forcing everyone to accept playing the role of bystanders while watching the greatest pillaging operation in history. The revolutions of the Arabs' spring, even when they are calling on the world and the West to protect the civilians from the “national” killing machine, are not blind to the collaboration between the West - which is now defending our freedoms - and Israel that is crushing the Palestinian's freedom and humanity, just as it is being done by “national” Arab regimes toward their own people. As for the mother of all American scandals following President Barack Obama's promises to do justice to the people of Palestine, it is that he chose to pave the way before his second term at the expense of that justice which dissipated the moment Obama stood in front of the United Nations General Assembly and reminded the world and the Palestinians about the “long suffering” of the Jews. It was as though the occasion aimed at sponsoring their request to see the proclamation of a Jewish state, and thwart the full membership request for the state of Palestine. Obama thus insulted the Palestinian authority, and even the suffering of the Palestinians, who thought that his defense of Arab human rights will expand and topple the immunity of the Israeli exception. And while we congratulate Obama on his rising popularity among Israel's Jews – in the hope that it can alleviate some of the burdens of his electoral battle – the stupidity of the American who tried in vain to uncover the “mystery” of why he is hated around the world resides in the fact that his justification of the Israeli blackmail is reviving extremism and fundamentalism, which, in the times of the revolutionary spring (if the situation settles down without tyranny or infighting) will become the biggest threat to Jewish Israel. As for the source of the threat for the Arabs, it is what is being fueled by Obama's ignorance and selfishness. Reviving an already blooming fundamentalism to quickly render it the primary opponent of pluralities and freedoms, transfers the suspicions to Washington and the entire West of planning to prevent the Arab spring from besieging Israel following the eradication of tyranny. What is maybe required in America is to find a map of new powers that would immunize the Hebrew state that stood fast for decades thanks to the stupidity of Arab tyranny, which – as soon as it depleted the Palestinian issue – blackmailed the citizens with a tradeoff between the loaf of bread and their voices. But the tradeoff has collapsed and a new “vague” stage has started for Israel as per Obama's description. Netanyahu in the meantime seized the opportunity of the American president's “honorable” speech before the General Assembly to inject a new massive dosage of settlements in the cup of the American “veto” over the independent Palestinian state. And they ask us why we hate them! The mother of US scandals is for it to internationalize the file of human rights while differentiating between the rights of the people. And while the Israeli example is “modest” whenever the Americans use the pretext of the Hebrew state's rebellion against their wishes and diplomacy, the example of Washington's defense of the rights of the Tibetans does not leave the Palestinians with any hope at the level of their anticipation and does not immunize them against a final divorce with politics. There is no identity for the bullets. This may also be realized by Washington which was “disappointed” with the settlements leap that followed Obama's bitterness at the General Assembly, considering he seemed to be repenting for the speech he delivered in Cairo and even downplaying the United Nations' importance because its decisions “do not make peace.” There is no shortcut toward peace, which is perceived by the distressed president in the “long suffering of the Jews,” as though he was calling on the Palestinians to bear additional decades of Israeli tyranny. There is no identity for despotism, and the threat facing the Arab spring is no longer an orphan. Its father is represented by the thieves of the revolutions on the domestic arenas, and its mother is represented by the Western-American hypocrisy. They wonder why we hate them. But should we be surprised by another surge of extremism?
