I do not know if there is a country in history that the Jews have not been sacked from. Even the founding fathers of the United States did not welcome the presence of the Jews amongst them. The reason has always been an anti Semitism that I condemn and consider completely inexcusable. Anti Semitism is still there one way or another. However, its reason these days is Israel, a racist occupying country that kills women and children, and that demolishes the houses of the original and sole land owners. It [i.e. Israel] is also providing an excuse to anyone who wants to practice anti Semitism openly. On the other hand, there are good people who belong to the highest possible human caliber, and these include many Jews, who oppose Israel as it symbolizes the apartheid, occupation and terrorism. There are also bodies, such as the majority of the members of the United Nations and the World Council Of Churches, which totally condemn Israel. Hundreds of civil society and human rights organizations have also condemned Israel, in addition to a thousand or more universities and Hollywood itself where the Jewish liberals constitute an obvious majority. This is not anti Semitism, but rather the verdict of the world against Israel, which is currently led by a fascist government which includes radical parties that resemble a sort of organized crime gangs. This government wants the Palestinians to acknowledge Israel as a country for the Jews as a pre condition to launch negotiations that will definitely not result in peace. However, the two major ruling parties, Yisrael Beitenu and Shas, do not acknowledge the Palestinians as nation seekers and rather want to expel them to Jordan. I had once given my opinion about Jews, which is that a good Jew is the best person in the world and that a bad Jew is the worst person in the world. The first kind includes Noam Chomsky, Norman Finkelstein, Uri Avnery, Richard Goldstone, Amos Oz, David Grossman, Daniel Barenboim, and Nurit Peled in addition to the Israeli peace organizations both in Israel and the United States, as well as the Rabbis of the reformist Jewish sects (there are other sects whose names do not have an Arabic translation). The second kind includes the terrorist war criminals of the Israeli government and the leaders of the settlers. In the United States, these include the pro Likud neo conservatives who had worked for launching wars that left more than a million dead Muslims such as Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Pearl, Elliott Abrams, Douglas Faith, David Wurmser, David Frum, Lewis Libby, Michael Ledeen, John Podhoretz and William Kristol (and his father Irving before him). Once again, there are anti Semites looking for excuses to practice their anti Semitism. However, the Israeli atmosphere is infected and the Israeli society, which once included a majority of moderate or leftist liberals, now includes radical religious elements who believe that the entire population of the world is there to serve the Jews and the fascist settlement movements. Both sides base themselves on biblical myths speaking about prophets that never existed and imaginary kingdoms with no sign whatsoever on the ground to prove that they ever existed in any era. In this neo-Nazi atmosphere, the detained soldier, Gilad Shalit became more important than 10,000 Palestinian prisoners including females and children in the Israeli prisons. This Saturday coincides with the fifth anniversary of the abduction of Shalit. Thus, there will be “celebrations” of the occasion as well as festivals and clowning acts such as having 24 Israeli personalities step in successively (i.e. over 24 hours) into a closed room or cell – of a surface of nine square meters – where each one will be spending an hour in order to remember Shalit. [Shalit] is a soldier whose job is to kill or get killed. On the other hand, there are thousands of male prisoners and hundreds of women and children. He came to steal the land from its people. The women and the children tried to defend their land in the face of the barbaric attacks. One more time, there is anti Semitism that had once led to the Nazi holocaust. However, opposing Israel is a humanitarian act as we have reached a point where Israel has turned into the number one and most important reason for the spread of anti Semitism.
