I believe that Barack Obama will most likely attempt to collaborate with the Republicans first, but that he will then most probably end up embroiled in a confrontation with them. But this in fact is better since, in that case, they can be blamed for any economic failure, and Obama would not pay the price a second time as happened in the midterm elections. While I believe in the plausibility of the scenarios above, the same does not apply to the issue of peace in the Middle East, and I am instead certain that the President will fail, despite his good intentions and sincere desire to reach a solution. The U.S. President did not achieve anything in the past two years, and today, there is a new political landscape. Most probably, John Boehner will become the new Speaker of the House of Representatives. Boehner is mostly known for his close ties to lobbyists and financiers, which earned him the title of GTL, or “Golf, Tan and Lobbyists”. The New Yorker Magazine had earlier published his picture where he reacted to Obama's extended hand by making a fist. The other candidate is Eric Cantor, who represents Virginia. He is a Likudnik to the bone who wants to separate aid to Israel from U.S. foreign aid so that the latter may be cancelled, and also wants to include Israel with the Department of Defense as though it were part of the United States. This is while Sen. Harry Reid will remain the Speaker of the Senate, although I believe that Sen. Chuck Schumer wished that Reid had lost so that he could head the minority party in the Senate. Schumer is a self-proclaimed guardian of Israel, or in other words, the guardian of the fascist occupation state that murders women and children, and the state that murdered the American peace activist Rachel Corrie (the trial of her murderers is still underway in Israel). If Barack Obama saw what American Likudniks write about him, he would have perhaps changed his mind. Consider the following titles, for example: - “The U.N Circus” and many other articles before it, of which I recall the one entitled “Obama's Human Rights Disgrace”. All this because his administration joined the UN Human Rights Council that condemned Israel more than the rest of the world combined ever did, as did the Commission on Human Rights before. - “Killing Us Softly”, in which the Likudniks reject the measures taken by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which they deemed to be radical. - “Obama's Castroite Allies”, on Obama's ties to a Cuban-American activist linked to Castro. - “The Other Election Issue”, in which they exploit the attack on the Church of Our Lady of Deliverance in Baghdad to justify the prolongation of wars overseas. - “Breaking the System: The Obama Team's Strategy for Changing America”. The title sums up the article's subject, wherein it is claimed that should Obama's plans be implemented, the United States will suffer from disastrous consequences. - “Vote Fraud” is the title of an article published on the eve of the elections claiming that the Democrats will attempt to rig votes, specifically in Chicago where they lost. - “Radical-in-chief” and before it, “The divisive commander in chief” (a play on the word “joint” or the title given to the U.S. president as the commander in chief of the U.S. armed forces). They claim that Obama is pursuing a policy that is contrary to his declared one of being a president of all Americans, without partiality to Red states (Republican) or Blue states (Democratic). - “Living with failure”, an article blaming Obama for the economic downturn otherwise caused by George W. Bush with the Likudniks' help. - “Obama's outlaw romance”, was perhaps the most insolent article I read this year. The article accused Obama of overlooking Islamic “terrorism”, and Iran and the threat it poses to the world and human rights violations, while criticizing his pledge to assist impoverished countries with U.S. taxpayer money. Of course, the article forgot to mention Israel, the neo-Nazi state that murders women and children, and also forgot to say that Israel receives direct and indirect U.S. aid worth many times over all the aid given to the poor around the world. As a result, Israel murders, destroys and dispossesses, and occupies with U.S. money and weapons, becoming a disgrace to human rights and humanity as a whole in the process. - “The Obama Boomerang”, where boomerang refers to Obama's policies that backfired. However, I believe the reason for this is that he tried to appease the war criminals and the fascist Israel gang that betrays “its country” every day. - “Obama's exceptional world view”, where Obama is criticized for seeing the world as a big pie of which the U.S. is part, and not necessarily better or “tastier” part. Here, I would like to say that the United States was once a pioneer of human rights that set an example for the world. But then there came the Israel lobby, the war cabal and the war criminals that made the U.S. into what Obama is trying to mend today. - “Abandoning Obama” where the Likudniks mentioned that many Democrats are abandoning Obama's sinking ship, specifically Rahm Emanuel who resigned as the White House Chief of Staff (and who once served in the Israeli occupation army). - “Obama and the end of arrogance”, an accusation that is implausible given how he deals with politicians or ordinary people. - “Obama throws America under the bus”. All this because the Obama administration submitted a report on the status of human rights in the U.S. to the UN Human Rights Council, which condemns Israel periodically as I said earlier. - “Obama's anti-prosperity crusade” which is nonsense, since no one would really fight prosperity. - “Did Obama spike the spill?” in the Gulf of Mexico. He of course did not, but the article suggests otherwise. There can be no peace with the likes of these extremists, and I mean there can be no peace between Barack Obama and them, let alone between us and them. [email protected]
