Minister of Interior of Tunisia Ali Al-areedh confirmed that the situation on the Tunisian Libyan border is under control despite some "isolated" skirmishes. In press statements following a Libyan Tunisian governmental meeting here in Tunis last night, he said the prime ministers of the two countries Hamadi Al-Jebali and Abdulrahim Al-Keeb have met here last night and were briefed on measures preventing further infiltration across the border. He said the two sides intensified patrols monitoring trafficking and acts of violence.
