U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta Tuesday ordered the Air Force to address a safety issue with its F-22 fighter jets, including limiting the distance they can fly. The F-22 has never flown in combat overseas. Pentagon spokesman George Little told reporters that Panetta supports the Air Force's efforts to solve the issue. “However, the safety of our pilots remains his first and foremost concern,” Little said.
