President Asef Ali Zardari of Pakistan received here today Dr. Suleiman bin Abdullah Abal-Khail, Rector of Riyadh-based Imam Mohammed bin Saud Islamic University, and the accompanying delegation. At the outset of the meeting, the Pakistani President lauded the efforts of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in the service of Islam and Muslims, particularly in the service of the two holy mosques and in the field of education. He pointed to the depth of the fraternal relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. For his part, Abal-Khail conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Pakistani President, wishing him every success. He added that the State of Pakistan is a sisterly country enjoying the gratitude of the Kingdom and the care and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. During the meeting, they discussed ways of activating and developing the work mechanism at the Islamic International University in Islamabad. Abal-Khail thanked the President, who is also Rector of the University, for appointing him as Deputy Rector of the University, vowing that the Kingdom would continue supporting the university in various ways.
