Greek President Karolos Papoulias has called the leaders of the country's political parties to meetings on Sunday in an effort to find a deal for a coalition government and avoid fresh elections, according to dpa. The president's office announced Saturday that he would initially meet the leaders of the three parties that won the most votes - Antonis Samaras of New Democracy, Alexis Tsipras of SYRIZA and Evangelos Venizelos of PASOK. The talks are scheduled to begin at noon (0900 GMT). Papoulias will then meet individually with the leaders of the other four parties that won enough votes to enter parliament.
