US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton arrived in India on Sunday on a three-day visit during which she is expected to discuss foreign direct investment in retail, the Indo-US civilian nuclear deal, and Iran. Hillary Clinton, who landed in the eastern metropolis of Kolkata was scheduled to meet West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday. Kolkata is the capital of West Bengal state. She is to meet Indian Foreign Minister SM Krishna on Tuesday in New Delhi. The agenda was expected to include progress on a civilian nuclear energy cooperation agreement between the two countries. Hillary Clinton arrived in India after visiting China and Bangladesh, according to a report of DPA.
