Nepal: Nine Killed By Flash Flood From Avalanche

Nine people were killed in flooding trigged by an avalanche in Nepal's western district of Kaski Saturday, police said. Fifty others are said to be missing.
Police said three of the victims were suspected to be Russian tourists who had been trekking in the Annapurna area, according to a report of DPA.
The flooding occurred near the tourist town of Pokhara, about 200 kilometres west of the capital Kathmandu.
